
Mary Lawlor (Skibbereen) took silver in the singles with Claire O’Regan (Skibbereen) taking bronze.Īoife McMahon went on to win a second gold medal with her partner Liam Hayes (Skibbereen) who also took a second gold in the singles event, they beat silver medal winners Breda O’Donovan and her partner Keith Whelan (Waterford) in the mixed doubles.


West Cork women dominated the event winning three golds in the singles events with Aoife McMahon (Clonakilty), Breda O’Donovan (Clonakilty) and Emily Meagher (Bantry). Every player on the squad managed to win a medal, with the tally including a hugely impressive six golds. Three were from CoAction Skibbereen, three from CoAction Bantry and three from the Cope Foundation in Clonakilty.
